You'll have enough to serve 6 when you finish making these sizzlin' kebabs. They are just spicy enough to give the flavorful minced lamb a kick.
Ingredients
* 2 lbs. minced (ground) lamb * 1 onion, grated * 4 cloves garlic, grated * 1/2 inch ginger root, grated * 1 green chili, grated * 1/2 tsp. garam masala * 1 egg, beaten * 1/4 tsp. black pepper * 1/2 tsp. paprika * 1/4 C. gram flour * 1 tsp. chopped fresh mint * 2 Tbs. natural (plain) yoghurt * salt * 4 Tbs. oil
Directions
Mix all the ingredients except 3 Tbs. oil and shape into 20 meatballs. Flatten to about 1 inch thick. Heat the remaining oil and fry the meatballs for about 20 minutes until browned on all sides. Serve hot with mint chutney. |
