This foul-proof recipe will get you some yummy tamarind pulp in no time!
Ingredients
*11 oz. dried tamarind *2 1/2 C. hot water
Directions
Soak dried tamarind overnight in the hot water or boil it for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Rub the tamarind through your fingers to reduce it to a pulp then rub through a sieve and collect pulp. Discard husks, which should not exceed 1 tablespoon. Excess pulp can be frozen.
